摘    要:介绍末位淘汰制的起源和科技期刊评价中引入末位淘汰制的情况,分析末位淘汰制对科技期刊和期刊编辑的影响.认为末位淘汰制有利于期刊的发展并激励期刊编辑不断提升期刊质量.

Abstract:This paper explains the origin of the lowliest place elimination series and its application in sci-tech journal evaluation, analyzes its influence on sci-tech journals and journal editors. It is suggested that it contributes to the development of the journals and journal editors and is thus beneficial to improving periodical quality.
