移动学习不受时空的限制,越来越受到学习者的青睐,已经成为人们学习知识的重要方式.移动学习借助移动设备、现代化信息技术以及飞速发展的互联网络,为学习者提供丰富的、专业的学习资源.文章主要从三大方面论述移动学习的主导作用:从学习方式的分类角度讲,与正式学习相比移动学习更适用非正式学习领域;从非正式学习的主体角度讲,移动学习现已成为个体学习和企事业单位培训的重要手段;从实际应用角度讲,移动学习的优越性决定了其在非正式学习领域主导作用的发挥.  相似文献

场馆学习作为非正式学习的重要形式,是与人、场馆、展品和文化相关的具体的学习机制、学习方案与学习过程。对场馆学习进行科学评价是有效促进学习效果提升以及场馆可持续发展的重要条件。目前国外对场馆学习的评价已有一些有价值的研究,但在国内这一研究还处于起步阶段。文章从资源与学习两个视角探寻场馆学习的评价,通过梳理国内外对场馆学习中数字化资源和学习效果的评价研究,尝试建立对场馆中数字化资源及学习结果评价的原则、框架及评价体系,期望为我国的相关研究提供借鉴。  相似文献

过去十年,移动学习已经从小规模研究发展成为大规模的全国性和国际性项目。然而,这个领域仍然缺乏比较研究和对实施大规模移动学习的研究。移动学习的种种形式可以看做是从"正式学习"(在固定地点,比如有教师管理的教室,使用移动设备的学习)到"非正式学习"(使用具有高度移动性的学习应用软件、由学习者自己控制的学习)的连续。近年来,研究的焦点是"无缝学习",旨在支持跨越不同环境、使用不同设备学习的连续性,比如把课堂学习和由学校组织到博物馆的参观学习联系起来。影响移动学习成效的因素包括:技术的可获得性、机构的支持、互联网连接、与日常生活的融合和学习者对技术的拥有等。移动学习所面临的挑战主要在以下三个方面:提高移动技术的可用性、设计适合于个人移动技术设备的非正式学习形式、评价户外和跨越不同地点的学习。  相似文献

This paper provides a review of the literature about the use of augmented reality in education and specifically in the context of formal and informal environments. It examines the research that has been conducted up to date on the use of those games through mobile technology devices such as mobile phones and tablets, both in primary and secondary education. The review of the relative literature was carried out in the period 2000 to early 2014 in ScienceDirect and ERIC. The outcomes of this review illustrated a set of studies that provide evidence of positive outcomes regarding student learning. These studies, which focused mainly on the natural sciences and took place within informal learning environments, used both qualitative and quantitative data collection methods. The earliest study that was conducted about this topic used personal digital assistants, while the more recent one used smart (mobile) phones and tablets. The services of augmented reality focused on markers/quick response codes, virtual items, global positioning system services as well as on platforms for game creation. The findings of the literature review are discussed in relation to research approaches that are needed for augmented reality games to be played either in formal or informal learning environments.  相似文献

This paper reports on the development of the “MobLearn@Work” App, which emerged from a study of informal learning among five employees at different companies in China. The purpose of the study was to develop a strategy for the design of mobile learning support tools that would enhance informal learning in the workplace. The App was developed by creating a platform to support informal learning through the integration of two sets of issues that emerged in the study: (a) affordances of contemporary Web 2.0 tools identified from the literature and by exploration of the participants’ mobile technology uses, and (b) informal learning activities of the participants that emerged in the context of their work. Consideration of these issues led to the conclusion that an effective App for informal learning should include functionalities such as really simple syndication, podcasting, Web-searching and microblogging, all of which were integrated into the “MobLearn@Work” App. The implementation of the App in these five cases over a six-month period yielded a further set of design recommendations, which are discussed in the paper.  相似文献

The United States is experiencing an obesity epidemic: A science-technology-society public health issue tied to our built environment, which is characterized by heavy dependence on automobiles and reduced opportunities to walk and bicycle for transportation. This presents an informal science education opportunity within “science in personal and social perspectives' to use pedometer technology for enhancing students' understandings about human energy balance. An exploratory study was conducted with 29 teachers to investigate how pedometers could be used for providing academic enrichment to secondary students participating in after-school Health Sciences and Technology Academy clubs. Frequency analysis revealed that the pedometer activities often investigated kilocalorie expenditure and/or incorporated hypothesis testing/experimenting. Teachers' perspectives on learning outcomes most frequently conveyed that students increased their awareness of the importance of health habits relative to kilocalorie intake and expenditure. Pedometers have considerable merit for the regular science curriculum as they allow for numerous mathematics applications and inquiry learning and target concepts such as energy and equilibrium that cut across the National Science Education Standards. Pedometers and associated resources on human energy balance are important tools that science teachers can employ in helping schools respond to the national call to prevent childhood obesity.  相似文献

Abstract

The formal and informal sciences can be integrated for the enhancement of training, research and teaching in the formal school system. The knowledge and methods of informal science, although regarded as crude, local or native, when embedded with formal science, can be subsequently developed and packaged as teaching innovation for the promotion of scientific knowledge, skill and training. This is the focus of this study where selected informal science experiences were used to teach some science concepts in inquiry-centred Nigerian classrooms. In inquiry-based lessons, teachers only act as facilitators and resources, creating the environment for investigations to take place.

In the experiment, students' explorations were centred on informal science activities which were guided to be incorporated into the knowledge structure of formal science classroom experiences. Subjects were Senior Secondary School 11 male and female students taught the topic alkanols; types and preparation including concepts such as fermentation and the brewing process. Informal science activities involving the processing of cassava, grains and other local products were explored by subjects in the experimental group and there was a control group whose subjects were not exposed to informal science activities. Differences in the cognitive and affective learning outcomes of students from the two groups upon data analyses were found to be significant with sex playing a major role. Implications of the findings were highlighted and recommendations were made.  相似文献
