Over the past five years, McGrath Library at Hilbert College has made its interlibrary loan services more convenient, efficient, and beneficial to both students and faculty. As a direct result, use of ILL has increased. This article discusses what small changes McGrath Library has made to improve interlibrary loan services and how these changes benefit both students and faculty. Just a few little changes have added up to a big increase in interlibrary loan use at McGrath.  相似文献

Interlending & Document Supply是唯一一本以馆际互借与文献传递为主题的专业学术期刊,本文就该期刊2001-2011年间发表的论文进行综述研究。通过对文献类型、活跃作者、权威机构的统计计量分析,以及关键词词频分析、引文分析,来反映国外图书馆馆际互借和文献传递领域近十年的研究现状。最后作者就近几年该领域普遍关注的热点问题进行综述,希望对我国文献传递和馆际互借工作的发展提供理论和实践借鉴。  相似文献

This study presents an examination of the annotations, comments and notes written by Interlibrary Loan Borrowing (ILLB) staff and interlibrary loan patrons. Interlibrary loan requests were submitted on index cards, and later using the electronic interlibrary loan system (ILLiad). The research attempts to determine how the interlibrary loan process was transformed from the analog-to-electronic progression. Analysis of the notes, annotations and comments on 2,000 interlibrary loan cards and 1,975 ILLiad transaction records suggests that consolidation and synthesis of different components in the interlibrary loan process has resulted in increased efficiency. Patrons using the electronic service are more motivated to communicate with ILLB Staff via the “Notes” field embedded in the interlibrary loan request submission form.  相似文献

Abstract

Technological advances in the processing of interlibrary loans have enabled libraries to deliver materials electronically to users. Delivery is especially beneficial for distance education students for whom typical interlibrary loan services are often not a viable option. The author conducted a survey of libraries that serve distance education students to determine which systems and processes, used in traditional interlibrary loan, are transferable to the delivery of materials from the “home” institution to off-campus students. To complement the survey, the results of a case study of experiences at Western Michigan University (WMU) are presented. WMU uses ILLiad and SFX systems to facilitate the request and delivery of interlibrary loan and document delivery requests to students both on and off-campus students.  相似文献

The Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery Department train staff, updates manuals, compiles statistics, trains staff, follows copyright guidelines, and performs other relevant duties. Knowledge of copyright guidelines is an important factor that affects decisions on whether to borrow or purchase. Practices and procedures of other institutions guide decisions about how an interlibrary loan and document delivery department operates on a day-to-day basis. The titles in this annotated bibliography will help to guide interlibrary loan practitioners to texts with information on specific topics. Abstract

In July 2017 the California State University system of twenty-four libraries started an unmediated interlibrary loan service for print materials, known as CSU+. This paper examines four years of interlibrary loan data, from two years before CSU+’s launch to two years after, to explore the impact of the new service on interlibrary loan usage. The data shows that CSU?+?dramatically increased interlibrary loan use across the California State University system.  相似文献

采用光沉积-液相化学法调节电子流向,构建了直接Z型TiO2/Ag/Ag3PO(4 )(TAAPO)光催化材料.通过扫描电子显微镜(SEM)、透射电子显微镜(TEM)、X射线衍射仪(XRD)、X射线光电子能谱(XPS)、紫外-可见漫反射光谱仪以及光致发光(PL)光谱仪等手段对其进行表征,并对其在可见光照射下催化降解环丙沙星(CIP)的性能进行了研究.结果表明,当水体pH为3.0,催化剂分散浓度为0.3 g/L,CIP的初始浓度为15 mg/L时,光催化降解体系能够取得最佳的去除效果.在该组条件下,光照120 min CIP的降解率约为99%,并且在经历4个循环后仍然保持了良好的降解效果.在光催化降解CIP的过程中,主要反应活性物种为超氧自由基(·O2  相似文献

[目的/意义]整体把握馆际互借和文献传递发展脉络,探索馆际互借和文献传递的未来发展趋势。[方法/过程]以WoS核心合集作为统计源,采用文献计量学方法对国外馆际互借与文献传递研究文献的发文时间、国家与地区、机构与作者、发表刊物等进行统计分析;利用HisCite和CiteSpace筛选出重要相关文献,在对其进行阅读归纳的基础上,进行馆际互借研究的发展脉胳与主题分析。[结果/结论]馆际互借可分为传统馆际互借时期（20世纪80年代以前）、馆际互借研究迅速发展期（1980-1990年）、文献传递快速上升期（1990-2000年）、动态发展期（2000-2016年）4个阶段,未来馆际互借员角色应更加多样化。  相似文献
