Since the Online Computer Library Center (OCLC) unveiled its WorldCat Local library catalog discovery layer in 2008, library instructors have debated how to incorporate this tool into their teaching. WorldCat Local's faceted searching brings both educational benefits and unexpected challenges to the classroom. Instructors frequently hold formal and informal discussions on such topics as which search features are most effective during teaching and which patron groups benefit most from this tool. The authors of this article surveyed instruction librarians at U.S. academic libraries that are using WorldCat Local in order to gather and organize this feedback. The German registry system is unique in its approach to records management. By way of better understanding this approach,
the historical development of this registry is portrayed in its characteristic phases: first the adoption of the practice
of using registers in the Middle Ages; second the transposition of this practice into a complete recordkeeping system in the
Prussian administrations of the 18th and 19th centuries; third the attempt to streamline this system in the early 20th century;
and fourth the nature of the registry in modern German administrations, and in particular how it has adapted to the use of
electronic records.
Apart from the historical presentation, however, this study also aims to highlight central concepts of the German registry,
including entries, action files, and the idea of registry itself being applied to the entire activity of keeping records.
Finally, it is suggested that these concepts can provide new insights into various areas of archives as well as into current
recordkeeping problems.

以某刊为例,根据普莱斯定律及2013-2015年在某刊的投稿情况设定满足条件:1)2013-2015年发文量≥2篇;2)A:2013-2015年连续3年均在该刊投稿;B:2014年或2015在该刊投稿量≥2篇的作者用户(满足条件2中的A或B均可)为高发文量且对投稿某刊有一定青睐程度的核心作者候选用户.根据二八定律确定文章被引频次或下载频次在各年排名前20％左右的文章作者为具有高影响力的核心作者候选人.将既满足高发文量、高影响力且对投稿某刊有一定青睐程度的作者用户作为该刊的核心作者用户群,构建核心作者用户库,通过为该批用户提供更加优质服务激发他们的写作热情和投稿热情,以吸引优质稿件.最终纳入74名作者用户为该刊的核心作者用户群,共投稿306篇,录用200篇,最高录用比100％,最低28.6％,平均65.4％,其中下载频次或被引频次在各年进入前20％的文章总数为99篇,占比49.5％,最高被引频次14次,最高下载频次314次. 相似文献

The volume of data collected by multiple devices, such as mobile phones, sensors, satellites, is growing at an exponential rate. Accessing and aggregating different sources of data, including data outside the public domain, has the potential to provide insights for many societal challenges. This catalyzes new forms of partnerships between public, private, and nongovernmental actors aimed at leveraging different sources of data for positive societal impact and the public good. In practice there are different terms in use to label these partnerships but research has been lagging behind in systematically examining this trend. In this paper, we deconstruct the conceptualization and examine the characteristics of this emerging phenomenon by systematically reviewing academic and practitioner literature. To do so, we use the grounded theory literature review method. We identify several concepts which are used to describe this phenomenon and propose an integrative definition of “data driven social partnerships” based on them. We also identify a list of challenges which data driven social partnerships face and explore the most urgent and most cited ones, thereby proposing a research agenda. Finally, we discuss the main contributions of this emerging research field, in relation to the challenges, and systematize the knowledge base about this phenomenon for the research community. 相似文献

为了跟踪国外信息管理研究进展,以ISI的Web of Science为数据源,借助文献统计方法,从文献的年度分布、学科分布、国家分布及作者分布等方面,对国外2001—2010年间有关信息管理研究的相关论文进行统计与分析。同时采用社会网络分析方法,借助UCINET等工具对文献的关键词进行统计和聚类分析。研究发现:近十年国外信息管理研究呈曲线增长趋势;信息系统、信息管理技术应用是持续的研究热点;用户需求和用户信息行为等研究主题不断深化与扩展;注重相关学科先进理论、方法和技术的借鉴与应用;信息管理在医学、生物、农业等实践领域的应用将成为今后信息管理研究的重点。 相似文献
