线粒体DNA（mtDNA）多态性与运动能力关系的研究进展

全面总结和分析了人类线粒体DNA(mtDNA)多态性及与人类运动能力关系和不同多态性与训练对人体运动能力适应性影响机制的研究成果。结果提示：mtDNA可作为良好的遗传标记,尤其是长1122bp的控制区在线粒体基因组中最具多态性、进化速率最高的区域,包含着线粒体基因表达的控制信息,其序列多态性分析以及与运动能力表型的关联研究,对于人类运动能力的分子遗传学探讨有重要意义和研究前景。但有关mtDNA多态性与运动能力之间关系的研究才刚刚起步,现有的研究结果还存在争议,仍需进一步深入研究。  相似文献

Correlates of verbally aggressive communication in adolescents

This investigation identifies demographic, media, and social correlates of verbally aggressive communication in adolescence. Mail surveys were completed and returned by 2,300 adolescents between the ages of 13 and 15. These adolescents were asked about the prevalence of verbal and physical aggression, the context in which it occurred, demographics, and the interpersonal and media influences in their lives. The results indicate that verbal aggression is widespread, that committing and experiencing verbal aggression is largely reciprocal, that there is a strong relationship between committing verbal and physical aggression, and that peer social influence and listening to violently oriented music are mildly related to verbal aggression in adolescents. These findings suggest more resources should be allocated to teaching adolescents to understand and control verbal aggression. Further, they provide important answers to many prevention and intervention programmatic questions, including context, content, and targeting concerns. Since the negative consequences of verbal aggression are severe and long lasting, decreasing this destructive communication behavior should significantly improve the lives of many adolescents. 体外反搏对运动员血流动力学影响的研究

１２名游泳运动员，配对后随机分成实验组和对照组，实验组每人进行２周共１０次体外反搏，于反搏前、反搏后即刻和２周后测定血流动力学指标，同时对与之配对的对照组队员进行测定。结果表明：体外反搏后即刻心输出量增加，左心室有效泵力提高，体循环外周阻力下降，微循环状态改善；进行两周反搏后的第二天，上述良好变化继续存在，而对照组各项指标前后变化不大，提示体外反搏对提高运动员心功能，改善血循环状况从而增加重要器官的血液供应，加速代谢产物的排泄方面有良好的作用。  相似文献   

Merchant of Mercy, Merchant of Death: How Values Advocacy Messages Influence Jury Deliberations

This exploratory study addresses the ability of values advocacy messages to influence target publics' behavior beyond consumer purchase decisions. In doing so, it fills a gap in the research by extending our understanding of the persuasive premises of values advocacy messages beyond rhetorical (de)construction; consumer behavior; and the establishment of typologies, definitions, and methods of inquiry. Using focus group methodology, target audience members (n=37) of a contemporary values advocacy campaign reflect upon the messages presented in the context of jury deliberations. The findings show that focus group participants would likely reduce punitive damage judgments if exposed to values advocacy messages. The social and cultural implications exposed by participants' comments reflect ongoing concern among critical scholars about the ability of corporations to manipulate public behavior and indicate the ethical conundrum between corporate and community speech.  相似文献

Lecturers on teaching within the ‘supercomplexity’ of Higher Education

While a vast literature exists on students and their learning, work on lecturers and their teaching continues to lag some way behind. This paper explores the notion that the complexity of Higher Education (HE) today significantly impacts upon what goes on in the classroom through a two-tiered study. Semi-structured interviews were conducted to explore lecturers’ perceptions and experiences of teaching a specific module. Interviewees raised issues pertaining to the wider departmental, institutional and socio-political context. Consequently, focus groups were run with key people in the University to explore their perceptions of teaching and learning within the current HE climate. The findings suggest that lecturers perceive numerous external factors to impinge upon their teaching and attempt to militate against these in various ways in order to achieve ongoing enhancement of learning for students.
