定语是修饰限定名词或代词的语言单位。汉语的定语和英语的定语存在着许多的差异。汉语是左向分枝语言,定语成分主要是放在所修饰的中心词前面。而英语是右向分枝语言,定语修饰语主要放在中心词的后面。我们在做英汉互译时,要采用灵活多变的翻译手法,正确地处理汉英定语修饰语与中心词之间的关系。 相似文献

修饰语移就是修辞格中比较独特的一种。修辞的基本特点就是对语言常规的偏离。在修饰语移就的翻译中采用直译还是意译一般要取决于原语中移就表达偏离常规的程度。偏离小的一般可以直译以保留移就格 ;反之则要意译 ,舍弃移就格。另一方面 ,在两者皆可的情况下 ,应按文体功能和读者文化层次来决定直译或意译。在保证可理解性和可接受性的前提下 ,直译有利于促进文化交流。文章划分了修饰语移就翻译的 5个层次 :(1)完全直译 ,保留移就格 ;(2 )基本直译 ,略加调整 ;(3)既可直译 ,也可意译 ;(4)只可意译 ,舍弃移就格 ;(5 )意译成另一移就表达方式。文章最后列举了一些常见的移就内部语义结构类型。 相似文献

从语义学的角度来研究同义词只是同义词研究的出发点和基础,我们必须在此基础上进一步研究在实际的语言交流和运用中如何得体而恰当地运用同义词。同义词的语用研究把同义词的研究范畴从传统的语义学研究范畴延伸到了语用学、修辞学、心理学等研究范畴,因为这些学科本身就是密切联系的。只有这样,同义词———这些看似“相似的词语”才能有用武之地,才能丰富和美化我们的表达,使我们的语言表达准确而得体。 相似文献
